    We cannot say enough of this awesome business. Broke down outside Calliope, they sent the recovery vehicle with a vehicle for us to follow in. Took us to collect a hire car, all on a Friday afternoon. Not only efficient but full of empathy, understanding and helpfulness. Then checked our vehicle out but sadly it was at the end of its life so going the extra mile they recovered our personal items, stripped of the roof bars and awning and had these ready and waiting for us to collect - they would have sent them but we decided to drive to Gladstone, kind of to put the ghost to rest.


    An incredible organisation with brilliant staff. We cannot endorse them highly enough or give sufficient thanks. And, by the way, their charges were amazingly reasonable and given our circumstances they fould have really milked this but they did not.

    My son and I were broken down about 4 hours from home, John from GMW overheard me talking about my car engine having weird noises & helped me get my car to GMW in Gladstone (1.5hrs from home), where he got his mechanics to diagnose the problem with the car & got my car home to me the very next day. I am very impressed with GMW & I most definitely recommend them for long distance haulage & diagnosis of vehicle problems. Amazing people, will go back if I need parts from their wreckers side of the business.
